Your Route
from the North:
- If you are coming from Koblenz or Trier, follow the motorway with the German number A 48 or A 1 or the international number E 44 (Koblenz to Trier),
- leave the motorway at the exit "Wittlich Mitte",
- follow the road B 50 in the direction of Bernkastel-Kues until you get to a roundabout just before a bridge over the Moselle to the village of Zeltingen-Rachtig,
- don't cross the bridge, but follow the Moselle westwards in the direction of Ürzig (2nd exit at the roundabout)
- the monastery is on your lefthand side shortly after you go under the bridge
from the South:
- follow the motorway with the German number A 61 or the international number E 31(in the direction of Koblenz)
- leave the motorway at the exit "Rheinböllen",
- follow the B 50 (known as the "Hunsrück-Höhenstraße") in the direction of Bernkastel-Kues until you reach the Moselle at Mülheim,
- then follow the river westwards through Bernkastel-Kues and continue until you reach Zeltingen-Rachtig,
- cross the bridge to the left bank of the river and continue westwards in the direction of Ürzig (2nd exit at the roundabout)
- the monastery is on your lefthand side shortly after you go under the bridge
- alternatively if you are following the motorway with the German number A 62 (international number E 31) continue as far as Trier and then follow the route from Trier as described in "from the North" above
There is ample parking for cars, buses and campers.
